do you play the game?

has anyone ever said to you, "you just gotta play the game" or "i'm just playing the game"?sometimes it's fun to play the game. because you work hard and sweat and enjoy yourself. you have to think quick and overcome obstacles. but sometimes it's not fun to play the game. when the game is jumping through hoops, going through the motions, and making things look or feel one way when they're really not that way at all.
