the last few days have been spectacular by iowa standards (60s and 70s in early march is pretty sweet), so i took advantage of the warm weather and rode my bike to work. yesterday i got halfway and remembered that i didn't bring a clean, regular bra with me. it wouldn't have been a big deal. i could have worn my sweaty sports bra all day, but it just didn't sound too comfortable, so i stopped at walgreens (ha) and bought a bra for $9.99. i didn't have much of a choice (34A isn't a hugely popular size), so i grabbed the white one (haha). i brought it up to the register and thankfully, my favorite morning, old lady cashier was working. i laughed and told her that i forgot to pack my bra, so i had to buy one. she said i shouldn't bother, she had stopped wearing a bra long ago (even though her mom said she'd have black eyes before long and she said she told her mom she wasn't "big enough" for that to happen.. .too much information from her.) i whipped out my debit card, stuffed the bra in my backpack, and rode off. it was no victoria's secret body by victoria ipex wireless, but it was not bad for $9.99.
